What You’ll Need
Required:
- Combi drill
- 7mm masonry bit
- T25 Torx key (included)
- Tape measure
- Pencil
Recommended:
- Laser line or level
- Torque wrench (1–6Nm)
- SDS drill (for tough walls)
Step-by-Step Installation
Step 1: Mark Drill Holes – Use Layout Guide for Standard or Extended Rail
Use the layout measurement guide, a pencil, and a tape measure to mark your hole positions. A laser level or spirit level helps keep things straight.
Step 2: Drill Wall Holes
Drill 7mm masonry holes to a depth of 30mm. Use wall plugs (included).
💬 If drilling into OSB or softer material, a 4mm pilot hole is enough.
Step 3: Mount the Bottom Rail
Align the lower rail and fix it using 2× T25 stainless Torx screws.
Torque to 2Nm or “nip tight” using finger pressure on an L-wrench.
Step 4: Mount the Upper Rail
Install the upper rail using the remaining 2× T25 screws.
Double-check alignment with your bike’s wheelbase.
Step 5: Insert Tyre Clips & Safety Loop
Slide tyre clips into each rail and align them with your bike’s axles.
Add the Safety Loop just above the upper tyre clip and nip tight using the included hex tool.
Use the loop to keep your bike secure even if tyre pressure drops over time.
💡 Clip positions can be adjusted later — just loosen, slide, and re-tighten.
Step 6: Test Fit Your Bike
Gently place your bike into the lower clip and lean it into the upper one.
Adjust clip height or position if needed. (align with wheel axle) Safety Loop should hug the wheel.
Step 7: Store the Tool
Stow the hex key in the top accessory for easy access

Installation Tips: What to Do& AvoidWhen Mounting Your Verticale Kit
✅ DO |
|---|
Use a laser level or plumb line to ensure your rails are vertical. |
Double-check your bike's wheelbase before choosing your rail spacing. |
Nip the screws firmly — no need to overtighten. |
Test fit your bike before locking all accessories in place. |
❌ DON’T |
|---|
Don’t install rails too close to a door or obstruction. |
Don’t drill into brittle or unsupported surfaces without proper fixings. |
Don’t skip the safety loop — it helps hold the bike if pressure drops. |
Don’t overtighten clips — secure is good, but force can strip fixings. |
Adjusting for Different Bikes
Not all bikes are the same size — and your rail setup doesn’t have to be either.
If you’re installing for a junior, child, or compact frame, just adjust the clip positions to match your bike’s axle points. You can also fix the rails slightly closer together if needed.
📌 Tip: Mark the axle height of your bike on the wall first — this makes it easy to align the clips precisely.
FAQs – Positioning and Safety
No — not always. The layout is designed to suit most adult bikes (650c–700c wheels).
If you're mounting a junior road bike or a smaller frame, you can adjust the rail height to suit your bike’s axle points.
Just make sure both clips are firmly mounted and the bike sits straight and secure.
🔐 Note: Any non-standard positioning is done at your own discretion. Installations that compromise safety or cause damage are not covered under warranty.
